#5. 不错, 我无言

我:做么你练习过了, 还会错的?
学生:老师, 你没有忘记过东西吗?
这个就是我一直描述举一反三的学生, 不完全无道理

#4  new  perspective
Some parents  want  their kids finish all their  homework,  regardless  it's  school  homework  or tuition work.  But

#3  What are the criteria when parents looking for a daycare and tuition centre?

1. cost
2. facilities
3. healthy meal
4. variety in activities whenever possible
 (holiday, birthday, field trips)
 5. School homeworks finish at the daycare centre
6. Tuition as usual

7. Added value to your child's belief
This is what I wanna highlight today. There are many children today, some of whom are the only child in their family, being spoilt so much by their kids. They do not know how to solve a problem by themselves, but merely asking for help without realising that they themselves can overcome it.

Not only about problem solving skills, it also includes other qualities like
leadership skill
 communication skills
discipline
putting effort
etc.

Children at this critical age, if being well brought up, will largely affect their perception about the world, the principle, and how they should behave properly themselves, respect to the elderly, and others.

So, I always remind myself, to never fast forward, and rush for lesson, until I forgot to be their role model. Even a short 2 mins lesson, or reminder helps to form their perception, teaching them how to looking things from a bigger picture.

They would know how to make their parents proud by practising those good moral virtues in their life, but not depend on their parents because they were born with golden spoon.

#2  Always looking into the good of your kids

Always looking at the good side of a student. For example, the shadow today. J sees the good in them by making the following commentary.

“You see, they are very bright actually, we didn’t do much actually, but they manage to come out with close to proper puppet show if it is not we don’t have enough time.”

There were some of them whom you can see really put on their effort to try their best. I am impressed by one of the groups of Year 1  & year 2 ladies group. Can you believe that they come out with dialogue all by themselves?

Oh well, and that's one student who was so smart to use a basket to create the net shadow!

#1  Seize the chance to acknowledge their effort whenever possible

Teacher must seize the chance to provide aftermath feedback, but not to let it go due to the rushing of time. Because students always anticipate for teacher’s feedback after they use their heart and soul to present it, and wish to get some sort of appreciation like.

You all have done well, even the naughtiest in the class, on normal day did well too. Such appreciation or acknowledgement will drive them to work harder in the future, and therefore more successful in the future.

Students would also learn from their mistakes, and willing to alter their behaviour to correct their wrong when teacher acknowledge their effort. =D
